Biblical Counseling Training 2 | September 7
A Level 2 class for Biblical Counseling Training will be available for those who would like to continue to train in Biblical Counseling at 11:00 am starting September 7th. Find all the details and sign up here.
Women’s Fall Bible Study | September 10
Ladies of Immanuel are invited to join us for a 10- week study through the book of Philippians on Wednesday nights, at 6:30 PM starting September 10th. Find all the details and sign up here.
Sunday Night Kickoff | September 14
Sunday Night Programming will be kicking off on Sunday, September 14th! Join us for a dinner in the Court before the activities, which are from 5:30-7:00 PM. Dinner begins at 4:45 and goes until 5:15 pm.
Next Steps Classes | September 21

Meeting opening:
1. Worship & Prayer:
• Scripture: Psalm 147 – “It is Good to Sing Praises to Our God”

• Prayer Time: For Immanuel members and for meeting wisdom and guidance
2. Discernment:
• Benevolence Gift: Discussion and approval of gift request
• New Benevolence Policy:
Discussion of new policy draft
Final policy with updates and edits to be presented at next meeting
• Member Report:
Board received update on member counseling and progress
• Building Proposals:
Board discussed future building projects and procedures for moving forward
• Fall Ministry Plans:
Board informed on upcoming level 1 and level 2 Biblical Counseling training sessions that will
begin in September
3. Ministry Management:
• Financial Report: June 2025 and July 2025 Financial Reports reviewed and accepted
• Global Partners: Next meeting later in August
• Strategic Local Partners:
Board informed about local Christian non-profit group called Community Teams, which is
partnering with some of Immanuel’s SLP’s Doors of Hope and Positive Options
• Engagement, Assimilation, Membership Process: The membership curriculum is being revised
• Pastor’s Report: Pastor Alyn reported on his possible future trips to visit Global Partners
