Light of the World Christmas Program: Sunday, December 13, 2026, 6 - 7:30 pm
Our 3rd Annual Christmas Program will take place on Sunday, December 13th! Children and teens are invited to fill unique roles, such as singing, playing an instrument, acting (no lines), reading scripture, dancing, or doing sign language. This is an event for the entire church and a great opportunity to invite extended family and friends!
Practices will be on the following days/times after Sunday evening programming:
Sunday, November 8th, 7:00 - 8:00 pm
Sunday, November 15th, 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Sunday, November 22nd, 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Sunday, December 6th, 7:00 - 8:00 pm
Sunday, December 13th, 3:00 - 4:30 pm (DRESS REHEARSAL)
Dinner will be provided for those required to be at this practice so they will be ready to begin at 5:30 pm.
All elementary-aged children (K-5th grade) will be included in the program to sing two large group songs. If your child is solely filling a choir role, they will not need to attend Sunday evening rehearsals. These songs will be practiced during morning Sunday school classes and evening Kids’ Club.
ARTISTIC OPPORTUNITY: If your child would like to artistically create something that helps demonstrate the Christmas story, we’d love to display it! Some ideas would be to paint or draw a picture, make something with clay or rocks, weave or knit something, etc. The possibilities are endless! These pieces of art will be on display in our gathering areas during the program. We prefer these items to be completed by Sunday, December 6th, so we can plan our displays accordingly.
If you are a parent and you are interested in volunteering for the dinner, costuming, or sitting with the students in the audience, please leave a comment on the interest form.
If you have any questions, feel free to email Jessica at jessica@immanuel.cc
Please express your area(s) of interest at the link below by Sunday, November 1st.
