Children’s Ministry is looking for individuals to help with childcare on Sunday mornings and for Sunday evening programming.
This area includes (but is not limited to) teachers, small group leaders, activity/game coordinators, and nursery workers.

Worship Team Member
Job Description: Immanuel is looking for worship team members to help the worship leader lead the
church in worship that is God centered and Christ honoring. We have needs for vocalists (lead and
harmony) as well as instrumentalists.
Job Requirements: First and foremost – team members must have a saving relationship with Jesus
Christ and live a God honoring life. Volunteers must demonstrate a level of proficiency in their vocals or
instrument that would be a benefit to the worship ministry. The audition process is a non-threatening,
three-step process that introduces volunteers to the team and allows us to get to know them and their
abilities. If accepted to the team, volunteers would be expected to communicate with the Pastor of
Worship Arts regarding their schedule availability, attend the Wednesday evening practice before their
assigned Sunday(s), and attend pre-service practice on their assigned Sunday(s).

Greeter
Job Description: Immanuel is looking for warm, friendly individuals to welcome/greet people at the door and help newcomers and find their way around the facility. Volunteers will also help answer questions as they arise and direct people to the Connect Center when it’s appropriate to do so. We are currently looking for volunteers who are able to serve one Sunday per month or be a backup greeter as needed.
Job Requirements: Volunteers must be willing to learn and follow operational procedures, and they should be friendly and helpful! Flexibility with schedule changes is a plus.

FACILITY:
Job Description: The Building Maintenance Team meets weekly to repair or maintain our facility.
Examples of work include changing light bulbs and ballasts, electrical switches, running wires, painting,
carpet maintenance, repairing doors, replacing furnace filters, etc.
Job Requirements: Some technical knowledge is helpful, but not necessary.
GROUNDS:
Job Description: Ground Crew volunteers help with lawn care, tree care, sprinkler maintenance, flower
beds, pond maintenance and other landscaping responsibilities once per week.
Job Requirements: Responsibilities will be determined/assigned by the grounds crew supervisor based
on the existing needs and the experience of the team

Youth Ministry Teachers & Small Group Leaders
Job Description: Immanuel is looking for committed volunteers to join students as they journey through life. Small group leaders are expected to attend all Sunday evening meetings throughout the school year as well as various weekend special events (approx. 2/semester) and Summer events.
Volunteers will lead a small group (5-10) of students alongside another leader by facilitating meaningful conversation around the lesson for the evening (we provide questions to start the conversations) and pray with students. We ask all leaders to get to know both the students and their parents.
Job Requirements: Must be a mature believer who desires to care for students. We aren’t expecting perfection, but a general projection of growth and pursuit in your personal walk with Jesus must be evident. Volunteers must be available to attend all Sunday evening meetings throughout the school year as well as various weekend special events and summer events. Note: All Student Ministry volunteers need to have attended Immanuel for at least six months and they are required to complete a background check.

Young Adult Small Group Leader

They help provide first-level support and care to group attendees and escalate needs to board/staff members as needed. They are the catalyst for making sure their group functions properly, assigning/delegating tasks to others and training apprentices to make sure all the bases are covered.
Job Requirements: This is a leadership position that is relational in nature. Leaders must have a caring spirit for those in the group, be of reputable character and commit to accurately represent God’s word in accordance with Immanuel’s doctrinal statement.

Sunday Dinner Lead
Job Description: Do you enjoy cooking meals for LARGE groups of people? We need help coordinating our Sunday Dinners! Dinner leads are responsible for planning the menu, shopping, and leading a team of volunteers in preparing/serving food to 150-200 people one Sunday evening per month.
Job Requirements: D inner leads must be a good cook, ServSafe certified, experienced in preparing meals for large groups and able to provide direction (delegate tasks) to a team of volunteers. Must have a heart for hospitality and MUST be able to remain calm under pressure.
Food Preparation Volunteer
Job Description: We’re currently looking for individuals with flexible schedules to help with food prep for our large events. If you enjoy working with others and learning new skills, we would love your help!
Job Requirements: E xperience using knives and other kitchen utensils is a plus. Must have a servant’s heart and be able/willing to follow directions.

Safety Team Member
Job Description: Safety Team Members follow Immanuel Church safety protocols and Emergency Action Guidelines to keep our congregation and building safe and secure. Team members are scheduled to serve one Sunday morning per month and they may also be asked to coordinate safety for other/additional events (scheduling will be coordinated through their weekly Safety Leader and online communications tools). All team members are asked to carry pagers and walkie-talkies on their assigned weeks.
Job Requirements: Volunteers will stay up to date on the security requirements of the church and they will work closely with their Safety Leaders. Background check is required.

Sound Technician
Job Description: Sound Technicians will help the worship leader lead the church in worship that is God centered and Christ honoring by assisting with the sound system. Responsibilities include setting up mics (and installing batteries in them as needed) and mixing/adjusting sound levels on the soundboard in an effort to provide the best worship experience possible OR working in the post production room to set levels for the livestream during our Sunday morning services.
Job Requirements: First and foremost, sound technicians must have a saving relationship with Jesus Christ and live a God honoring life. They must also demonstrate a level of proficiency in understanding both the equipment and the theory of how music is mixed. Technicians should be teachable and willing to take instruction from the Pastor of Worship Arts and they must be available to attend Wednesday evening practices and Sunday morning worship services on their assigned weeks.
Camera Technician
Job Description: Camera Technicians will help the worship leader lead the church in worship that is God centered and Christ honoring. Volunteers must be able to demonstrate a level of proficiency at operating the camera(s) and video switching devices to give our remote/homebound audiences the best worship experience possible.
Job Requirements: First and foremost, camera technicians must have a saving relationship with Jesus Christ and live a God honoring life. We will provide the necessary training for anyone who is interested in this position, but some previous experience is helpful. Volunteers must be available to attend the Sunday morning practices that they are scheduled for in order to get all the gear working and do a run through.

Office Support
Job Description: We are looking for individuals who are willing to help with various office/administration tasks as needed, such as stuffing envelopes, organizing, writing, proofreading or assisting with other needs.
Job Requirements: Office support team members must be able and willing to follow directions and carry out basic organizational and writing tasks.

Photographer
Job Description: The Immanuel Church photographer will capture 5-10 photos of various Immanuel activities and ministries, consistent with the Best Practices guidelines. Photographers will be scheduled to shoot 1-2 Sundays per month during normal Sunday morning ministries. Taking photos for events outside of the scope of Sunday morning is not required but greatly needed. Photography slots for special events can be claimed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Job Requirements: Previous experience, or desire to learn how to use a DSLR camera. You can shoot with your own camera or borrow the Church’s. Photographer application and submission of previous work required for consideration. Background Check will be required.

Prayer Team
Job Description: Members of the Prayer Team gather on Sunday mornings in the Prayer Room to pray for the worship service, church family, staff, missionaries, and their needs.
Job Requirements: Team members must be able to arrive to church early on Sunday mornings on their assigned weeks and pray with a small group of people.

Barista – Connections Cafe
Job Description: Our café team prepares food and beverages in the café on Sunday mornings. Volunteers make brewed coffee and hot chocolate in “group” quantity for church members and guests, they create specialty coffee drinks, cold brew coffee and smoothies to order, and they help clean tables/equipment. Training will be provided.
Job Requirements: Baristas should be friendly hosts to all who step into the café! Must be willing to learn/follow operational procedures. Volunteers will be asked to serve one Sunday per month from 8am– 12:15pm. Flexibility with schedule changes is a plus.

Medical Team Member
Job Description: Medical team members assist with various medical needs/emergencies as they arise.
Volunteers will carry pagers and walkie-talkies and respond to needs during their scheduled shift once
per month during b oth Sunday morning services (requirement might change when we move into our
new sanctuary). Volunteers will also check the supply levels/condition of our medical equipment on a
regular basis to make sure things are in good shape. Note: Since this is an on-call position, medical team
volunteers are also able to serve in another area while on call.
Job Requirements: Medical Team Members must be trained in first response or other equivalent
medical training (including CPR). Knowledge of medical equipment (including AED machine) and
familiarity with church safety protocols and guidelines is required. Team members will coordinate
scheduling through their Safety Team Leader and online communication tools.
