As a church, we are partnering with the ministry of Operation Christmas Child again this year! The goal of the O.C.C. ministry (by Samaritan’s Purse) is to engage with families around the globe through these gifts and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
You can learn more about the ministry at samaritanspurse.org
WAYS TO VOLUNTEER:
Families with children up through 12th grade (Rooted Families) are invited to join us for our Operation Christmas Child Packing Party on Sunday, November 15th, between 5:30 and 7:00 pm. In keeping with the mission of Rooted Family Ministry, parents are invited to join their K-12th grade children in serving to build boxes during our evening programming in our lower level. General church community members will be helping to organize boxes on the main floor.
WAYS TO GIVE:
Take one or more of the empty boxes on our O.C.C. display table, fill it, and return it. You can see suggestions for how to fill a box on their website. We are not a drop site this year, but will be bringing it to one.
Donate toward our goal of filling 500 boxes at our O.C.C. Packing Party! We are targeting boys aged 2 to 4-years-old for this project. Make a donation to this project here.
